Program Manager for Communications, Outreach, and Grants to Partners
The Great Basin Heritage Area Partnership (GBHAP) is seeking one or more creative, enthusiastic, and self-directed individual(s) to join our team. As the coordinating entity of the Great Basin National Heritage Area (GBNHA), our mission is to preserve and promote the unique natural, cultural, historic, and recreational assets of the area in ways that support the local economy and enrich the lives of residents and visitors alike.
This position may be filled as a combination of one or more full-time and part-time positions. Should more than one position be filled, the duties below will be appropriately divided to best fit the skills and interests of each individual. The incumbent(s) will work from the GBHAP office in Baker, Nevada. Following an initial training and orientation period (6-8 weeks), working from other locations within the heritage area with periodic trips to Baker will be considered, as one of our goals for the position(s) is to increase outreach to all communities in the Great Basin National Heritage Area. There are three primary areas of responsibility: communications and marketing, community outreach, and management of our grants program. Additional duties include general administrative support for the Executive Director. The incumbent(s) will be supervised by the Executive Director.
